• Ugh, mom's phone has been getting dead calls for hours. Why would ICU have room phones?! People are too sick to chat here. #annoyinganddumb #
• New nurse for days is kinda bitchy; wasn't going to let me back in room after I got food, demanding total darkness despite mom hating that. #
• Maybe nurse thinks I'm keeping mom awake by sitting in silence next to bed & jumping up ever 10 min when mom yells out for something. *sigh* #
• Also, mom slept fairly good *for her* overnight. She's anxious b/c of procedure today; dark room won't help that. Glad I brought laptop w/me #
• Last rant: frustrating to deal w/peeps unfamiliar to sit. b/c mom isn't like 99% of patients. Us staying 24/7 is complying w/her wishes. #
• Too tired to deal w/this. No clue why nurse ignoring mom's requests/is pissy (esp when I answer ?s since mom's dozing) & seems mad I'm here. #
